About GPS Aware

GPS Aware is a real-time 3D visualization and monitoring platform for the Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite constellation. Built for USSF/PNT operators, GPS industry professionals, and space enthusiasts.

Data Sources

• Satellite orbits: Space-Track.org and CelesTrak (TLE/OMM data)
• NANUs: US Coast Guard Navigation Center (NAVCEN)
• Constellation metadata: GPS.gov
• All data is unclassified and publicly available

Technology

Built with Next.js, CesiumJS, satellite.js (SGP4 propagation), and Python (FastAPI + sgp4). Orbital positions are computed client-side for smooth real-time animation.
